Welcome
Coronavirus
Call your VA medical center before going to a clinic, urgent care, or emergency room, especially if you have symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath. Calling first helps us protect you, medical staff, and other patients. Ask your VA health care team about the option of care by phone or video instead of an in-person visit. We also ask that visitors who feel unwell postpone their visits to VA facilities.

Honor & Remember
This Memorial Day, During the 2018 Freedom Balloon Fest, Support AMVETS North Carolina with a small donation to honor those who have fallen, are serving, or who have served.
AMVETS of North Carolina Service Foundation has secured a large portion of the field during the 2018 Freedom Balloon Fest in Fuquay-Varina. The memorial will be located near the Flagpole. Everyone will have the opportunity to place a memorial flag to honor a service person they would like to remember. You will be able to write the name of a service man or woman on the flag, and one of our volunteers will be there to assist you in placing the flag within the field. On memorial day Monday following the closing ceremony, AMVETS with the assistance of the Boy Scouts of America, will carefully remove these flags and transport them to different Veterans Memorial Cemeteries. They will then be placed on the graves in of our veterans who have passed. All we ask is a $3 donation to reserve a flag. All donations made online will be recorded, and flags will be set aside. Every donation given, goes toward AMVETS North Carolina programs and projects, which provide assistance to veterans and current service people throughout the state. We thank you for your support.
